ULTRACAVITATION FAQs
Ultracavitation is a much more technologically advanced and painless treatment for cellulite, sagging sking and stubborn fat deposits. Ultracavitation also combines Radio Frequency technology to firm and tighten the skin within the same treatment.
IPL FAQs:
NOTE – YOUR SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY: IPL treatments are not recommended for medium-dark to very dark skin, this includes light skinned people who have tanned to a medium or dark tone through any kind of tanning, including spray or bottle tans. We recommend Epilfree ‘Permanent Waxing” Hair Removal for medium to dark skinned or tanned individuals and those with blonde, white or grey hair.
IPL treatments are not recommended for individuals taking medications, orally or topically, which make their skin photosensitive. Please refer to this link for a list of photosensitizing medications:

Do IPL and hair removal treatments hurt?
While we all experience things differently, everyone says it was not as bad as they expected. The feeling can be described as being very lightly snapped with an elastic band.
What do I need to do to prepare for my treatments?
There is no prep required for Acne Clearing, Scar/Stretch Mark Reduction, Fine Line/Wrinkle Treatments or Photofacial Treatments. Please stay out of the sun for two weeks before and two weeks after your treatments or use strong, 75+SPF sun block daily. For laser hair removal please shave the area to be treated 3-5 days prior to your appointment. Do not shave the day of the treatment. The skin is always more sensitive if you have just shaved and we need a couple of millimeters of hair to work with.
How long does it take?
Treatments may take as little as 5 minutes for small areas, or up to an hour for larger or multiple areas.
How do laser hair removal and IPL treatments work?
The laser targets the pigment in your hair follicle. Within several treatments at monthly intervals we can ensure that all follicles are permanently hair free. IPL treatments target pigment, broken blood vessels and bacteria and stimulate collagen regeneration in and under the skin’s surface to normalize and rejuvenate the skin.
How does my skin type and hair colour affect my treatment?
The ideal combination for efficient laser hair removal and other IPL treatments is very light to light skin and medium to dark hair (for laser hair removal). This combination typically needs fewer treatments. Medium-light skin and lighter hair can be treated but will require a few more treatments. Light blonde and light red hair it difficult to treat. IPL treatments are not recommended for medium-dark to very dark skin, this includes light skinned people who have tanned to a medium or dark tone through any kind of tanning, including spray or bottle tans.
How many sessions are required?
While each person and even each body part responds differently to treatment, most clients need 4-6 treatments to achieve permanent hair removal and lasting results from IPL rejuvenation treatments. Intervals between sessions vary, please refer to the services page for details relating to the treatment you desire.
Are IPL and laser treatments affordable?
Considering the cost of daily shaving, plucking or waxing, in products, pain and time, permanent hair removal pays for itself over and over again. And, how do you put a price on the confidence and self-esteem gained by feeling better in your own skin.
IPL treatments are a wonderful, affordable alternative to, or enhancement to cosmetic surgery.
What type of machine is used?
While technically not a laser, The Active Chrystal Record 618 IPL is among the world’s most advanced active IPL equipment for permanent hair removal, acne removal, scar reduction, photofacial and skin rejuvenation. It is patented state-of-the-art technology, which optimizes power, pulsing and light delivery to provide maximum results while keeping you comfortable and safe. IPL ensures fast, efficient and painless treatment. The Active Chrystal is FDA approved.
Is Laser Hair Removal & Skin Rejuvenation for Men?
Men are the largest growing group in our society to seek hair removal and skin rejuvenation. Permanent hair removal is no longer the domain of professional athletes, bodybuilders, swimmers and cyclists. Regular men simply like the idea of feeling more confident and free, naked. Men have been removing unwanted hair from all of their body parts for decades, by tweezing, waxing or shaving, now they have a better option.
What is Laser Hair Reduction?
Some men are looking for a reduction in the total amount of hair without going totally bare. This can be easily achieved with Private Place Laser hair removal equipment.
What is The Difference Between IPL and Elos Treatments?
Elos treatments use a combination of more advanced technologies and generally are more effective than straight IPL treatments.
Some Elos treatments can be used on all skin tones and in general all Elos treatments can be used safely and effectively on a wider variety of skin and hair tones than traditional IPL treatments.
EpilFree ‘Permanent Waxing’ Hair Removal FAQs
What are the advantages of the Epilfree system compared with laser or infrared treatment?
Treatment with the preparation offers higher efficiency compared to other treatments. The medical team of K.Y.P Cosmetic Technology claims prevention of hair re-growth for a long period of time with an efficacy of 80%. Treatment with the preparation is suitable for all types of hair, including light hair and grey hair. This applies in particular to treatment of facial hair. Moreover, there is no risk of skin damage to which some people are prone as a result of optical depilation procedures and there is no limitation on exposure to the sun after treatment.
Does the treatment suit everybody?
The treatment is intended for women as well as men and it may be carried out over any part of the body. The treatment is made possible because it inhibits hair re-growth and provides a substitute to hair removal with wax or any other epilator tool.
I am a woman interested in removing facial hair. Can I be treated?
The preparation can be used on all body parts. The preparation is safe and there is no danger of pigmentation or burn, as compared with other treatments.
I am a man and I have undergone treatment at the nape and shoulders. I see marked improvement but still no complete depilation. What can be done?
There are areas in a man’s body and also in a woman’s body in which hair growth is hormonally driven and therefore hair growth is repeatedly renewed. Treatment with the preparation thins out the hair and inhibits further hair growth. In order to reach full results, more treatments than other body parts will be needed. However, efficacy of treatment with the preparation is higher than that of treatment by other methods.
Is the product safe in use?
The preparation received approval by Health authorities of the European common market. The lotion is manufactured at an approved cosmetic plant. The preparation contains active ingredients and therefore pregnant and breast-feeding women should not use it. This limitation has been decided by the company as a precaution in order to refrain from use of the preparation in such cases. The preparation should not be used on irritated or damaged skin.
Use of the preparation does not involve any side-effects and it is safe for use.
Treatments are not recommended for pregnant or lactating women.
All clients must be over 18 years of age to receive treatments.
